31st In-Nichi Bunkasai

Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata, in collaboration with Nihongo Kaiwa Kyookai Society (NKKS) organized the 31st IN– NICHI BUNKASAI which celebrates the cultural bondage between India and Japan every year.
Mr. Kazumi Endo, Consul General of Japan in Kolkata, addressed the audience in addition to Dr. Sreeradha Dutta, Director, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, who was present as CHIEF GUEST. The occasion was also graced by Mr. Preecha Kaensa, Consul General of Thailand in Kolkata.

The evening saw performances like songs, dances and dramas by the teachers and students of Japanese language, recitation of Tagore’s poem and special performances by children of Japanese Supplementary School in Kolkata and by students of Momoyama Gakuin University and Sophia University of Japan.
