Calligraphy Demonstration and Workshop

In collaboration with Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata, The Japan Foundation and South City International School, Nihongo Kaiwa Kyookai Society organized a Calligraphy Demonstration cum Workshop on 9 August 2023.
Calligraphy teacher from Japan, Ms. NAGAHAMA Hiroko, demonstrated the expressive Japanese art and explained the techniques. Thereafter, around 80 students tried their hands at Japanese calligraphy using traditional equipment.
