In collaboration with Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata and University of Tokyo India Office, The Japan Curry, a community of Japan fans, organized an event aimed to spread awareness about educational opportunities in Japan for foreign students on 13 May 2023. Mr. SASAKI Kazunori, Senior Manager, University of Tokyo India office made a presentation and few anime related activities such as anime quiz, anime voice over and anime music were presented as well. Consul General of Japan in Kolkata, Mr. NAKAGAWA Koichi and Mrs. NAKAGAWA Yayoi attended the event. Consul General made a speech encouraging Indian students to consider studying in Japan while enjoying the charms of Japan such as world class technology, a fascinating culture and a conducive living environment.
