Japan Talkies

In August 2023, Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata organized the Japanese film festival called Japan Talkies in Kolkata (Aug 11 to13) and Jamshedpur (Aug 18 to 20), in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and TATA Steel (only in Jamshedpur).
In total six Japanese films were screened in both cities, and a large audience from different age groups enjoyed the event.
