Midnapore Film Society and Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata organized screening of Japanese Film ‘Ballad’at Midnapore Film Society Auditorium on 21 May 2022. Audience turned up in a huge number and appreciated the movie, while hoping that they will have more such opportunities in the countryside. Vice Consul, Ms. Tamura Risa, expressed happiness to be able to introduce Japan’s society and culture through the movie to the people in and around Midnapore while General Secretary of the society, Mr. Satyajyoti Adhikari, sincerely thanked the Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata for providing this opportunity.
