Visit Japan: Travel Promotion Seminar

Visit Japan!
On 2 March 2019, Saturday, Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata in association with Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), New Delhi office organized a seminar aimed to promote outbound international tourism from India to Japan at Hotel Hindusthan International, Kolkata.
Representatives from Japan National Tourism Organization, Japan Airlines and Japan Travel Bureau made presentations in addition to Mr. Kunna Dash and Mrs. Sarika Todi who have had long staying and traveling experience in Japan. Consul-General of Japan in Kolkata, Mr. Masayuki Taga, welcomed the speakers and participants and encouraged them to promote Japan in addition to briefly discussing the Japanese visa relaxation facts. The seminar was attended by around 70 participants which mostly included tour operators and associations having their active presence in the eastern region who expressed desire to attend more such helpful events.
The seminar was followed by a Kiki-zake (Japanese rice wine tasting) reception where the participants and guests received an opportunity to taste 5 different kinds of Japanese rice wine.
