Consul General Mr. Taga visited the sites of Kolkata Solid Waste Management Project

Consul General of Japan in Kolkata Mr. Masayuki Taga visited the sites which are among the ongoing Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) -assisted ‘Kolkata Solid Waste Management Project’, spreading over six municipalities in Hooghly district of West Bengal. His visit to the Regional Waste Management Centre (RWMC) at Baidyabati was accompanied by Mayor Mr. Guin, a compost plant and the primary collection of waste in segregated manner at Uttarpara-Kotrung was accompanied by Mayor Mr. Yadav.
