Reception celebrating His Majesty the Emperor's birthday

   

Consul General NAKAGAWA Koichi hosted the reception celebrating His Majesty the Emperor’s birthday in Kolkata on March 2, 2023. Shri Barun Kumar Ray, Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Department, Government of West Bengal, attended the reception as the Chief Guest, together with other participants from including the government, consular corps, business community, Japanese community, universities, and media.

In this reception, products and food of the Japanese companies in India including Kolkata were displayed and offered. Also, Japanese food such as Tempura and Sushi, as well as Indian dishes made with Kikkoman Soy Sauce were offered.
