Japanese tourism and cuisine promotion

On December 4, 2024, Consul General NAKAGAWA Koichi in cooperation with Mr. KOSATO, “Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador” hosted an event for Japanese tourism and cuisine promotion, inviting representatives from local travel agency and restaurants, as well as Consular Corps in Kolkata. The event featured presentations by JNTO, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways on the attractiveness of tourism in Japan, the accessibility between India and Japan, as well as Japanese cuisine made with soy sauce from Kikkoman India and cocktails made with whisky and gin from Beam Suntory.
