Culinary Confluence with Kikkoman
On December 16, 2024, Consul General NAKAGAWA and attended a food tasting event held at the residence of British Deputy High Commissioner. The event was organised jointly by Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata and British Deputy High Commission in collaboration with Kikkoman.
Soy sauce, which is one of Japan’s traditional seasoning and essential in Japanese cuisine, goes well with dishes other than Japanese ones. Cuisines of different countries, all made with Kikkoman soy sauce were displayed for the guests. Consul General NAKAGAWA appreciated the concept of this event to introduce the dishes of different countries using Kikkoman shoyu.
