Acting Consul General ASHIDA meets with the students of Sushila Birla Girls’ School and Birla High School

On April 16, 2025, Acting Consul General of Japan in Kolkata, Mr. ASHIDA Katsunori met with the students and coordinators of Sushila Birla Girls’ School and Birla High School after their return from Japan.
Prior to this visit, the students from Ogawa High School of Japan visited Kolkata in July 2024 along with their coordinators. This reciprocal visit to Japan is a part of students’ exchange and the very first one by any school of Kolkata.
The students are extremely happy to narrate their memories of visiting Ogawa High School and Omiya Kita High School and of learning new things in Japan.
Acting Consul General ASHIDA appreciated the memories shared by the students and wished that more such students exchange at the school level need to be initiated for the betterment of the people to people exchange between Japan and India.
