On April 17, 2025, Acting Consul General ASHIDA Katsunori addressed the management students, faculty members, professors from IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIM Calcutta and Nagoya University, representatives from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan International Cooperation Centre (JICE) , Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Suzuki Motor Corporation India and Adani Cements at the inauguration of the 19-th batch of PGPEX-VLM Program for the Academic Year 2025-26 in the Joka campus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC).
