Japanese Film Festival in Bhubaneswar, Odisha

From August 22-24, 2025, the Consulate General in Kolkata held a Japanese Film Festival at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, co-organized with the Japan Foundation and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Consul General ISHIKAWA attended the opening ceremony of the film festival. Following the opening ceremony, the film “Father of the Milky Way Railroad,” featuring the father of renowned Japanese poet Kenji Miyazawa was screened, captivating the audience with the beautiful world of Japanese cinema.
