On August 23, 2025, Consul General ISHIKAWA attended the opening ceremony of “Festival of Japan” hosted by Bakul Foundation in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event featured participatory activities introducing origami, anime character cosplay, and Kamishibai (a traditional form of storytelling that combines a set of standard-size illustrated paper cards paired with a scripted performance by a narrator)etc. , providing participants with the opportunity to experience various aspects of Japanese culture. Consul General ISHIKAWA also visited the library of Bakul Foundation.
