Emperor's Birthday Reception

On February 26, 2026, the Consulate-General of Japan in Kolkata held a reception at a hotel in Kolkata to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor. Approximately 300 guests attended and enjoyed delicious Japanese cuisine, including sushi and tempura, as well as premium Japanese sake. In addition, booths were set up by Japanese companies for guests to explore.
