Consul General ISHIKAWA attends the anniversary event of the Quit India Movement

On August 9, Consul General ISHIKAWA attended the anniversary programme of the Quit India Movement at Netaji Bhawan and addressed the august gathering.
Expressing his admiration for the Quit India Movement, Consul General ISHIKAWA also referred to the significance of August 9 as the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Amidst the deteriorating global situation, he expressed hope that people would reflect on the importance of world peace and remember those who suffered as a result of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki 81 years ago.
Two books on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose were also published and unveiled during the ceremony.
